The Jesus Storybook Bible Lessons

JSB lessons

I am so excited for you to use these Bible lessons that I’ve written to teach alongside The Jesus Storybook Bible. There is one 45-60 minute lesson that goes along with each story in the JSB. That's 43 lessons in this one download!

These lessons can be used at home, Sunday school, or in a classroom setting. Each individual lesson includes:

  • Questions to ask young kids to help them understand the story

  • A Bible memory verse that reinforces what you read

  • A simple craft with explanations and printables when applicable

  • A fun game that (usually) applies to the lesson

These Bible lessons are purposely very simple. They are written so that you can grab your kids (or class), The Jesus Storybook Bible (purchased separately), a few common household items, and enjoy an intentional and fun Bible lesson.

I created this curriculum to be very easy for yourself or a volunteer to walk into a classroom, and with minimal prep, begin teaching. I used these lessons for many years for the K-3rd grade Sunday school classes--they have been well tested and loved!

Good News!
A Bible Study & Activity Book to Explain the Gospel

Good News

What is the “Good News” and how do you explain it to your child? What does it mean if you believe the Good News? This Digging Into God Bible activity book will help your children discover what the Good News is and what it means to them personally.

This Bible activity devotional will help your kids understand the way to salvation and to friendship with God. From looking up verses, making comics, word finds, coloring pages, mazes, etc...this activity devotional is a refreshing way to help kids unpack God’s Word--making it simple and memorable.

Created for 8 to 12 year olds, this activity book works through Mark 16:15-16:

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved.

But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.”

There are activity sheets and lessons for:

  • Good News (what is it?)

  • Believe (believe what?)

  • Baptism (what does baptism do?)

  • Being saved vs being condemned (say what?!)

and room for kids to work through each of those concepts in an age appropriate way.
